A unique leather collection by Alexz Sandoval, a Chicago based American-Mexican designer and leather craftswoman.  Creating timeless and unique accessories is Alexz's creative approach to spread passion to her wild and free kinfolk.

Strong female figures, a Mexican family, traveling, community, making art, and old fashion hard work.

Through leather working, Bird Trouble intends on encouraging and transiting our community into a
sustainable consumerism lifestyle. Our handcrafted process starts in our Chicago studio where our leather goods are started from scratch.  We source a natural veg-tan 3/4 oz shoulder cow-hide leather that we’ve tested to last
for years and age with organic grace.  Each pattern, inspired by a sketch and an idea, is drafted in-studio.  Each piece of leather cut with the help of our hands and trusty tools, continued by hand dying with the water-based eco-dye that never fails to stain our hands.  Finishing up the process, we sit at our industrial sewing machine to attach the parts and tie off thread ends.

We love to customize our styles to fit the needs of our supportive retailers. We welcome retailers and stylists to reach out to us. We will mix and match styles and dyes to attract our WILD AND FREE kinfolk that provide us unconditional enthusiastic support.
