2024's first finished Design Your Own orders

It’s a new year! January 2024 is actually almost over but it’s been a productive and good month so far. I worked on a small batch of Design Your Own customs myself in my home workshop. I’ll share them below so you can gather inspiration for your future orders. I love creating these blog posts for ya’ll to look through the work and take note of the descriptions so you can plan your own Bird Trouble Bags or Goods, but I also love to give ya a little back-story on what’s going on behind the scenes.

Side note. My home workshop / our basement lol is actually under construction right now but luckily our basement is fairly spacious and I have the boiler room and a guest room to work out of. My husband and I decided to renovate the bathroom first - because it was completely not working - and while prepping for it, we found mold. So all the drywall is ripped out now and since we’ve gone this far, we decided it’d be a good idea to re-do the entire house plumbing. We are a very ambitious and DIY forward household, can you tell?

Outside of the workshop and home stuff, our production teams in Chicago and in southern Ohio are working on two batches of Ready To Ship leather goods for us. My goal this week was for the products to be completed, picked up, and photography started. Let me tell you more about them before I pop off of this blog and get back to other work.

Our Ohio team helps us with the Timeless Collection bags, wallets, and zipper accessories. They’re a small family-own and ran team of leather artisans will a full factory and really cool equipment. We’re working on 45 products with them and this time, we’re pulling in 2 new Bridle leather colors for the new year: Havana (dark brown) and Saguaro (green) which I’m very excited about since last year’s debut of Timeless Collection goods I focused on a English Tan and Black bridle leathers.

Our Chicago team helps us with our fringe bag designs. They’re also a family-own and ran team with a full factory and a ton of… you guessed it, really cool equipment. They’re currently working on 8 designs in unique leather combinations to create 55 products. Mini Melissa Bags, Foxycat Bags, Mini Brittany Bags, Nayita Bags, Radley and XL Radley Bags, Sarah J Bags, and On The Road Hip Bags. We’re using a mixto of bison leathers, metallic fringes, and suedes in this run.

Stay tuned for the drop date of the new Ready To Ship! I’m preparing for a February drop and online customers will get dibs before I bring all the products to Mama Tried Motorcycle Show in Milwaukee Wisconsin and to my exclusive retailers. THANKS FOR BEING HERE! <3 <3 <3, Alexz
