Big News on Design Your Own Ordering for 2024

That’s right! Only a limited number of 10 orders will be accepted for a January 31st turnaround. The collection will be unavailable for purchase once capacity has been reached. I wanted to share the batch I finished making from November’s orders so you can gather inspiration for your own Design Your Own!

Actually… in 2024 I will only accept 10 custom orders every month. This is kind of big news!!! Since it’ll be more exclusive, you may want to set you alarm on the months you hope to order. (((Don’t count on this but if I can randomly accept more, I will announce so via newsletter or IG/FB/TikTok. Hope you’re following!)))

The first 2024 reopening of Design Your Own will be on January 15th for a February 29th turnaround.

My goal is to stick with reopening DYO every month, on the 15th, with a turnaround of the last date of the following month. That usually gives me around 6 weeks and plenty of time to hit that deadline or exceed your expectations! It’ll be nice. :-)

The new year is already looking up! I already have Ready To Ship production runs planned, some collaborations in the works, a new workshop assistant to train, manufacturing growth plans, and new styles in my head to get out. Running a small business is a balancing act… a few other areas need tending to in order to continue to thrive, so that’s what I’ll be focusing on in 2024. I appreciate you all going with the Bird Trouble flow! <3

Anyway, I’m looking forward to wrapping up 2023 with you all. We’re lucky to be connected to each other through these beautiful leather goods, and I pinch myself daily that I get to make them for you and that this passion I’ve had since I was a child provides for me in my current life.
